FIELD: machine engineering, machine tool manufacture, namely machine tools of lathe group, for example for turning sealing surfaces, particularly of bodies of wedge dampers at restoring them. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes drive motor for providing main motion and automatic cross feed of cutter, manual drive for cross feed of cutter, cutter holder with manual screw drive of cutter in-feed; tubular body with members for mounting it relative to worked surface; jack- carriage. Drive mechanism for providing main motion is in the form of first and second successively joined planetary stages mounted on common stationary axle joined with mechanism for adjusting working angle. First planetary stage includes stationary carrier on which above mentioned drive motor is mounted. Shaft of drive motor supports sun gear. Second planetary stage is in the form of differential mechanism whose central gear wheels have on opposite ends coaxial toothed rims for engaging with satellites of first planetary stage. On axle of one of satellites of second planetary stage set of gear wheels is mounted and it is kinematically joined with screw mechanism of rest for automatic cross feed of cutter. On outer generatrix of tubular body radial extensible supports are uniformly mounted along circle; said supports are arranged by two rows, three supports in each row. Supports of one row are in the form of double-arm hinge mechanisms whose one ends are joined with tubular body and whose other ends are joined with slider. The last by means of radial pins arranged in lengthwise grooves of tubular body is joined with rigid disc secured to rod of power cylinder having screw for manual drive of piston. Said screw is jointly connected with piston and it is mounted in threaded opening of cylinder cover. EFFECT: simplified design of easy-to-use apparatus, improved accuracy of working due to system for accurate tuning and basing relative to worked surface. 3 dwg
