FIELD: devices for grinding food waste.
SUBSTANCE: device is made in the form of a grid (6), the dimensions and shape of which are consistent with the dimensions and shape of the drain hole. A central axis (3) is attached to the grid (6) at one end, the other end of which is provided with a stopper (12). A compression spring (5) is installed on the axis (3) on the side of the grid (6). From the side of the stopper (12) on the axis (3) a mechanical waste chopper is movably mounted. The compression spring (5) is configured for additional grinding of food waste by folding the coils of the spring.
EFFECT: simple and reliable operation of the device.
