SUBSTANCE: at the preoperative stage, ultrasound duplex scanning of the vessels of the lower extremities is performed. At the preoperative stage, in patients with chronic venous insufficiency, the degree and nature of recanalization of the common femoral vein, femoral vein, deep femoral vein, popliteal vein, and posterior tibial veins are determined using duplex angioscanning. With single-lumen recanalization of the popliteal vein and the degree of restoration of the patency of the vessel 70-100% of the diameter of the vein, the operation of dosed narrowing of the femoral vein is indicated.
EFFECT: allows to evaluate and predict the effectiveness of the operation of dosed narrowing of the femoral vein according to the method of P.G. Schwalba in patients with post-thrombotic disease in the postoperative period, which allows a more differentiated approach to the choice of patients for this operation.
