FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to vascular surgery. To measure vein parameters used is bilateral thin sterile polytetrafluoroethylene integral measuring 60x20 mm tape, with integral scale being applied on one of its surfaces and conventional millimetre one being applied on the other one. After mobilisation of common femoral vein from surrounding tissues with measuring tape, vein diameter is determined by means of integral scale. After that, with application of millimetre scale, rectangular flap with width equal CFV diameter and length 3-4 mm exceeding the diameter is cut out from anterior wall of the vein. After formation of a new valve, remaining inside vein lumen, from the cut-out vein flap, the defect of CFV wall which was formed is covered with a patch, formed from the sought-for polytetrafluoroethylene measuring tape, with the patch dimensions being calculated basing on the cut-out vein flap, with addition of 1 mm to each of 4 sides to apply uninterrupted sutures.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to find the optimal size of single-cusp valve of reconstructed vein with high accuracy without intermediate intraoperative calculations, including use of geometrical values and mathematical formulae, which simplifies operation performance and improves its quality.
