FIELD: molecular sieves; catalytic cracking.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a modified Y-type molecular sieve for catalytic cracking of a hydrocarbon feedstock having a rare earth content of from about 4 to about 11% by weight based on oxide, phosphorus content of from about 0.05 to about 10% by weight based on P2O5, sodium content of not more than about 0.5% by weight based on sodium oxide and an active element content of from about 0.1 to about 5% by weight based on oxide, the active element being gallium and/or boron, in relation to the weight of the modified molecular sieve type Y in terms of dry matter; wherein the modified Y-type molecular sieve has a total pore volume of about 0.36 ml/g to about 0.48 ml/g, a percentage of secondary pore volume having a pore size of 2 to 100 nm, and a total pore volume of about 20% to about 40%; lattice parameter from about 2.440 nm to about 2.455 nm, lattice break temperature not less than about 1060°C, a percentage of non-framework aluminium to total aluminium of not more than about 10%, and a ratio of Bronsted acid to Lewis acid in the strong acids contained in the modified Y-type molecular sieve of not less than about 3.5. A method for obtaining the above molecular sieve, a catalyst based on it, and catalytic cracking of hydrocarbons in the presence of a modified molecular sieve are described.
EFFECT: use of the proposed molecular sieve increases the conversion factor of hydrogenated LCO, reduces the selectivity to coke, increases the yield of catalytic gasoline enriched in benzene, toluene and xylene.
