FIELD: molecular sieves.

SUBSTANCE: modified Y-type molecular sieve for catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon oils is described, having a calcium content of 0.3-4 wt% in terms of calcium oxide, a rare earth element content of 2-7 wt% in terms of rare earth oxide, and a sodium content of not more than 0.5 wt% in terms of sodium oxide, in terms of dry matter and based on the weight of the specified modified Y-type molecular sieve; moreover, the modified Y-type molecular sieve has a total pore volume of 0.33-0.39 ml/g, the ratio of the volume of secondary pores with a pore size of 2-100 nm to the total pore volume of 10-25%, a crystal lattice constant of 2.440-2.455 nm, the ratio the content of non-lattice aluminium to the total aluminium content is not more than 20%, the temperature of destruction of the crystal lattice is not lower than 1050°C and the ratio of Bronsted acid to Lewis acid in the total acid content is not less than 2.30, as determined by infrared spectroscopy of adsorbed pyridine at 200°C. A method for producing the above-described modified molecular sieve, a catalytic cracking catalyst containing the above-described modified molecular sieve, and the use of the described catalyst in catalytic cracking are described.

EFFECT: use of the proposed molecular sieve in catalytic cracking increases the activity of heavy oil conversion, provides low coke selectivity, increases the yield of gasoline and branched C4 hydrocarbons.
