FIELD: radio communications.
EFFECT: improved communication efficiency when using frequency shift modulation in the presence of interference with non-uniform spectral density due to the use of frequency groups for transmitting information symbols. In the time intervals intended for receiving information, the correlation metrics of noise, the additive mixture of signal and noise and the signal for all frequencies and the ratio of the values of the correlation metrics of signal and noise (SNR) are calculated. The selection of frequencies into groups is carried out for harmonics for which the SNR value does not exceed a predetermined threshold value. The decision on the presence of a signal for individual frequencies is carried out upon exceeding the calculated SNR values of the threshold value, for each group of frequencies - upon exceeding the sum of the SNR values of the frequencies of the corresponding threshold value.
SUBSTANCE: method of transmitting information using frequency shift modulation, which consists in the fact that when receiving a signal, after multiplying it by the corresponding reference signals and integrating, the result of signal conversion and noise is formed at the outputs of the integrators.
