FIELD: actuators.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an actuator for equipment, which can be made, for example, in the form of a valve, throttling valve, cock or gate. An actuator (1) is proposed, having a motor (2), an output shaft (4) driven by the motor (2) and connected to the equipment, and an emergency drive (5) with an energy accumulator (6), with which the output shaft (4) is driven as an alternative to the motor (2). The energy accumulator (6) is a pneumatic energy accumulator (7) and the energy accumulator (6) has a pressure chamber (8) with an expanding volume, and in the emergency drive (5) mode, the expansion movement of the pressure chamber (8) is directed to the output shaft (4). The energy accumulator (6) is configured for charging it from the engine (2) as a result of driving the engine (2) in the direction of the final position of the actuator (1). A method for charging the energy accumulator (6) of the actuator (1) is also proposed.
FIELD: invention makes it possible to use an energy accumulator having a lower dead weight, to reduce construction costs, while a physically independent system can be prepared for an emergency drive.
