SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine and bring to the specified values parameters of video cameras in the visible and infrared wavelength ranges. The claimed test object for the simultaneous calibration of video cameras in the visible and infrared ranges of the optical spectrum contains a flat plate with low thermal conductivity and ordered holes in which incandescent lamps, power switches and an independent brightness control unit for each i-th lamp of the test object, are installed, i=1, 2, …, N, where N is the number of lamps. Moreover, each i-th control output of the brightness control module is connected to the control electrode of the i-th power switch, the output of the i-th power switch is connected to one of the contacts of the i-th lamp, the second contact of the i-th lamp is connected to the supply voltage bus. To control the brightness of the lamps in order to achieve the required contrast for calibration of the images of the test object, a signal with pulse-width modulation is used. Insulated gate field effect transistors are used as power switches.

EFFECT: ensuring smooth adjustment of brightness and temperature of reference points, as well as their identification.
