FIELD: metal coatings. SUBSTANCE: method of zinc coating via thermodiffusion zinc plating includes loading an object or object batch into retort of rotary electrical furnace, loading saturant mixture containing 95-00% zinc, sealing retort, heating it to 380-600 C, throwing off pressure in retort, resealing it, and maintaining it at high temperature for period required for coating with desired thickness to be formed followed by discharging coated objects. Process line comprises input quality-control area, zinc coating installation, and output quality and coating thickness-control area. The line is provided with complex of baths to wash out and passivate coated objects and with lifting apparatus. Zinc coating installation contains frame-fastened swivel bar and inclination drive and rotary electrical furnace mounted on swivel. Bar. Furnace encloses rotary retort with sealed cover and, inserted in it, perforated container for objects being processed. Retort cover bears retort-depressurization device. Thickness of zinc coating varies in wide range between 5 and 100 mcm. EFFECT: reduced process cycle duration. 6 cl, 5 dwg
