SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of protecting an outdoor surveillance video camera from adverse external influences. The technical result is to improve the quality of the casing and increase the duration of the casing by improving the quality of cleaning the incoming air, preventing moisture and precipitation from entering the casing, directed blowing of the protective glass, which prevents glass contamination and maintaining the required temperature and humidity inside the casing. The protective cover contains a closed body consisting of a cover and a base, with a front window consisting of a frame with through holes and transparent glass, a pipe is installed on the outer side of the glass, a video camera, a fan, an air flow heater, a microprocessor control unit and a power supply, an air temperature sensor and an air humidity sensor connected to it are installed inside the body. A gravitational air purification unit with internal vertical partitions on the upper and lower parts is fixed to the rear end of the case at the fan intake, with an inlet having a protective visor and a metal mesh, an outlet opposite to the fan. Above the upper opening in the frame of the front window of the housing, a guide visor is made, which ensures the direction of the air flow onto the glass.
