FIELD: control equipment.

SUBSTANCE: protection system for a non-contact technical control sensor on a railway track contains a vandal-proof casing installed at the measuring section, the outer side of which is made with at least one hole and is equipped with an electrically driven automatic damper, a temperature sensor is placed in the casing, at least one protective casing with a window for accommodating of the non-contact technical control sensor, a heating device and nozzle placed in parallel to the window of the protective housing of the non-contact technical control sensor in close proximity to it to form an air barrier over the window, which nozzle is coupled through an air duct to a blower located at a remote distance from the railway track and made with the function of air intake through a filtration system, as well as a control module, the inputs of which are connected to the outputs of the temperature sensor and the system for monitoring presence of moving units on the measuring section of the railway track, and the outputs are connected to the control inputs of the electric drive of the automatic damper, the blower and the heating device. In this case, the protective housing in the casing is installed in such a way that its window is located directly under the corresponding opening of the casing, and the window glass includes a heating element connected to the heating means.

EFFECT: reliability of protection of non-contact technical control sensors is increased by preventing fogging and formation of ice, pollution from both adverse external effects and pollution formed during passage of the rolling stock, as well as through use of vandal-proof protection.
