FIELD: aviation; radio communications; navigation.
SUBSTANCE: used to measure the spatial radiation pattern (SRP) of low-directional receiving and transmitting antennas of airborne radio stations (RS) and airborne flight and navigation equipment (FNE) of an aircraft (AC) in flight conditions without involving for this purpose, placement and maintenance on board an AC measuring HF equipment for general and special (service) purposes, such as a measuring HF receiver or a low-power measuring HF generator with a broadband power amplifier that controls the PC and their secondary power sources from the onboard AC power supply system. As measuring HF equipment, an airborne radio receiver (OBR) with a telephone (telegraph) output or an airborne radio transmitter (ART) connected nominally to the antenna-feeder path (AFP) of the analyzed receiving or transmitting AC antenna and an airfield ART or OBR of a similar type are used, as well as built-in or removable LF-voltmeter and millivoltmeter with additional LFA at the OBR telephone (telegraph) output and HF-voltmeter at the ART antenna output - a source of unmodulated useful measuring HF-signal (US) at the OBR antenna input, providing, in combination with on-board and airfield magnetic recorders, onboard computer and airfield PC indirect measurement of the SRP of the onboard receiving or transmitting AC antenna during and based on the results of direct measurement with an LF-voltmeter and millivoltmeter with LFA, magnetic registration and statistical processing of the computer and PC of the current effective values and voltage of the OBR LF noise introduced and at the OBR telephone (telegraph) output in the absence and under the influence of an unmodulated measurement US at the antenna input of the OBR at discrete times of the common time system during the full turn of the AC simultaneously with the measurement and magnetic registration of the airborne and aerodrome FNE and the onboard equipment of the satellite navigation system of the flight parameters and the position of the AC in flight during the full turn reversal AC.
EFFECT: improving the technical and economic efficiency and accuracy of indirect measurement of the SRP of onboard antennas of AC in flight conditions at the stages of testing, flight research, testing and operation of the AC.
