FIELD: glass molding equipment and method. SUBSTANCE: reflecting device for feeding molten glass drops to glass molding section of sectioned machine has longitudinal reflector with U-shaped downward oriented section provided with mounting bosses and part curved at reflector end, said part having uniformly reducing curvature radius and being made from metal by casting method. Thin-walled cylindrical tube is disposed in channel formed inside reflector by casting method. Coolant is urged to flow through channel from inlet end thereof to outlet end by means of special device. Method involves sequentially directing molten glass drops through reflecting device, with molten glass drops contacting with reflector; directing cooling air or other coolant through cylindrical tube for reducing time of staying of molten glass drop in reflecting device. EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing internal cooling during successive feeding of molten glass drops into rough mold of section machine. 5 cl, 2 dwg
