FIELD: thermal power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: heat storage composition is described, including lithium chloride and lead chloride, additionally containing lead tungstate to ensure performance in the temperature range of 396-400°C with a specific enthalpy of 365-375 kJ/kg in the following ratio, wt.%: lithium chloride - 35-36; lead chloride - 57-58; lead tungstate - 7-7.5.

EFFECT: composition has less corrosive activity, high density and has an increased specific fusion heat of 365-375 kJ/g, ensures performance of the heat accumulator in the temperature range of 396-400°C.
