FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat power engineering, particularly production of heat-accumulating compositions used as energy materials in heat accumulators. The heat-accumulating composition contains 3.0-3.4 wt % sodium fluoride and 96.6-97.0 wt % sodium tungstate.
EFFECT: compared to known counterparts, the disclosed heat-accumulating compositions enable operation in a heat accumulator in two temperature ranges: 632-645°C and 576-589°C with total specific enthalpy of 200-207 J/g and specific enthalpy of phase change increased by 50-57 kH/kg.
