FIELD: laser detection and ranging, quantum electronics, systems delivering high-power radiation to air and space objects. SUBSTANCE: in correspondence with proposed technique present coordinates of object relative to platform of flying vehicle are determined, guidance of axis of source of auxiliary radiation on axis of source of working radiation is conducted, coordinates of directivity vector of axis of source of working radiation are found, axis of source of working radiation is guided on to point of anticipated presence of object defined more accurately, precision of guidance on to object is checked, compensating angular displacement in direction of propagation of working radiation is entered and working radiation is formed by reversal of wave front of radiation from source of auxiliary radiation.
