SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for conservative treatment of patients with paralytic lagophthalmos. Two exercises are performed, where the first exercise includes stretching of the muscles of the levator of the upper eyelid. The index fingers of both the right and the left hands are placed in the center of the movable part of the closed upper eyelid, one above the other, while moving the upper finger up and the lower finger down. The upper eyelid is stretched for at least 20 seconds. Then the second exercise is performed, with the head tilted from the initial straight position, first forward, then back and to the starting position. The index and middle fingers of the ipsilateral hand are placed in the center of the movable part of the closed upper eyelid. The tilt of the head from the initial straight position forward is carried out with the eyelid closed. When lifting the head and tilting the head back, the eyebrows are raised up and at the same time the eyelid are completely opened with the fingers and the patient looks up. Upon returning the head to its original position, the eyelid is closed, the exercise is repeated up to 5 times. After the second exercise, the first exercise is performed.

EFFECT: method provides increased efficiency of treatment of patients with paralytic lagophthalmos, elimination of imbalance of the orbicular muscle of the eye and the levator of the upper eyelid.
