FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: cut a tendon of the upper tarsal muscle or resect it. Make separation of free edges of the internal canthus. Pull a suture between leaves of the internal canthus with capture of an internal part of the lower eyelid tarsal plate. Tighten an eyelid medially and up. Fix the suture to periosteum of the upper-internal orbit angle.
EFFECT: will allow restoring adaptation of a lower eyelid to an eye, especially in a medial part, to narrow a palpebral fissure in a vertical plane, without essential change of its horizontal size.
