FIELD: extraction equipment.

SUBSTANCE: centrifugal extractor is disclosed for purification and separation of radioactive, aggressive, toxic, explosive liquids, which can be used in radiochemical, chemical, hydrometallurgical, pharmaceutical industries. The centrifugal extractor comprises a housing with a mixing chamber formed by vertical partitions and a stirrer, a separation chamber, light and heavy phase inlet and outlet tubes. The housing of the extractor is rotating and mounted on the shaft of the electric drive and equipped with horizontal partitions and a cover to form chambers for the selection of light and heavy phases. In the housing there is a fixed distributor with a stirrer installed in its lower part, inside which there are channels connected with the inlet and outlet tubes of the light and heavy phases. The upper horizontal partition is made in the form of a replaceable element pressed by the cover and sealed with a gasket. The fastenings of the housing with the drive shaft and the cover are made in the form of boltless connections.

EFFECT: operation of the extractor with liquids of different densities and facilitated adjustment of the device operation.
