FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction hardware for fluid-fluid systems to be used in chemical, metallurgical, food and other industries. Rotary extractor comprises drive, bearing support with bearings, cylindrical housing with rotor fitted therein and furnished with circular baffles to divide its inner space into mixing chamber, separation chamber, light phase discharge chamber, heavy chamber discharge chamber arranged at housing top section, phase distributor with phase passages and mixers. Housing bottom has light and heavy phase feed pipes communicated via bottom channels with phase passages in distributor with its bottom communicated with said housing bottom while its top is connected with sealing baffle. Sealing baffle is connected with heavy phase discharge chamber and arranged between magnetic coupling drive and drive half-couplings. Drive half-coupling is engaged with drive shaft while drive half-coupling is engaged with rotor. Bearing fixed bushings and lower bearing thrust ring are engaged with distributor while bearing moving bushings are engaged with rotor.
EFFECT: faultless operation at remote servicing, higher efficiency and nuclear safety.
