FIELD: veterinary industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preventing fatty hepatosis in domestic dogs weighing 10–32 kg. A method of the prevention of fatty hepatosis in domestic dogs weighing 10–32 kg, including the use of an aqueous solution of a composition previously dissolved in 200 ml of water, whereas such a composition contains the following components: L-ornithine-L-aspartate, lemon flavor, mint flavor, aspartame, anhydrous citric acid, mannitol, with the following ratio of components based on a single dilution: 3 g of L-ornithine-L-aspartate, 0.015 g of lemon flavor, 0.005 g of mint flavor, 0.05 g of aspartame, 0.5 g of anhydrous citric acid, 1.430 g of mannitol characterized be the following: the composition is used once every 5 days, by the method of individual irrigation of feed for 40 days.
EFFECT: above method for the prevention of fatty hepatosis in domestic dogs weighing 10–32 kg is effective, simple and safe.
