FIELD: production of building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing the strength of geotextile (woven, non-woven, knitted and membrane) materials (cloths) during their dynamic punching, intended for use in various construction industries. The device comprises a stand, a ring mechanism for clamping the test sample in a horizontal position, a protective screen, a cone, a guide rod, a punching force sensor, an amplifier with a measuring device, a linear displacement electric motor, a control unit, a cone position sensor. The device additionally comprises a measuring tape with a digital position code rigidly connected to the guide rod, a linear encoder, a control driver, a stepper motor and a diaphragm located under the test sample. The reading head of the linear encoder is electrically connected by a twisted pair cable to the input of the stepper motor control driver, which, in turn, is mechanically connected to the diaphragm.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and reliability of the measurement process.
