FIELD: power generation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an expander plant for generating electrical energy from heat. An expander plant (30) is proposed for obtaining electrical energy from heat by means of a thermodynamic closed process, containing an expander device (32) driven by an expanding working medium of a thermodynamic closed process and a generator (34), which is driven by means of an expander device (32). The expander plant (30) is equipped with a rotation speed sensor (120), which is connected to the shaft (98, 56, 58) of the expander plant (30) rotating in proportion to the rotor (82) of the generator (34) and which is made in the form of an electric generator sensor (122) , which generates an electrical sensor signal, wherein the electrical generator sensor (122) generates, as a sensor signal, an electrical voltage that is detected by direct voltage measurement and is essentially proportional to the speed of rotation of the generator.
EFFECT: simplification and reduction in cost of receiving and processing the signal of an electric generator sensor.
