FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: machine for reducing pressure or compressing gaseous media. The machine consists of a housing (10) and at least one helical rotor (36, 38) located in the housing (10) and extending between the low-pressure side (62) and the high-pressure side. The rotor (36, 38) is mounted in the housing (10) on both sides by means of a set (92, 94, 96, 98) of bearings. Each set (92, 94, 96, 98) has at least one radial bearing (102), and at least one of the sets (96, 98) has at least one axially acting bearing (104) supporting at least one rotor (36, 38) in the axial direction against the moving movement from its working position in the direction (112, 114) side (62). At least one rotor (36, 38) is provided with at least one axial thrust bearing (212, 214) supporting at least one rotor (36, 38) in the axial direction in such a way that the end side (122, 124) of at least one rotor (36, 38) is directed without contact with the end wall (126, 128) of the housing (10) facing the side (122, 124). The housing (10) contains at least one rotor (36, 38) and at least one bearing (212, 214) located on a seat trunnion inserted into the end of the bearing trunnion.
EFFECT: excluding the possibility of screw rotors resting against the housing from the high-pressure side, at ensuring a compact design and ease of modification of existing machines.
