FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: tilt system for railway vehicle comprises controller, high pressure air cylinder, left and right air springs, left and right auxiliary air chambers, first and second three-position electromagnetic proportional feed valves, sensors, pressure difference valve and two-position switching valve. Moreover, each of the air springs communicates with the corresponding auxiliary air chamber. The controller controls three-position valves to supply air from the air cylinder to the left and right air springs through the first and second three-position valves, respectively, or release air from the air springs to the atmosphere through the three-position valves. The pressure difference valve is configured to communicate with the left and right auxiliary air chambers. The on/off changeover valve communicates with the left and right auxiliary air chambers through pipelines. A tilt control method and a railway vehicle with a tilt system are also claimed.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability and simplifying the tilt system.
