FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to single-screw gerotor pumps with metal-metal pairs placed in the wells of oil fields. Stator 1 of a single-screw gerotor pump is made of hard metal with inner surface 3 in the form of a helicoid and a plurality of internal helical grooves 5 on surface 3. Stator 1 is designed to install the rotor and configured for engagement by internal helical cavities 7 with the helical teeth of the rotor during its rotation. Stator 1 has one cavity 7 more than the number of rotor teeth. Each groove 5 is made with a semicircular cross-sectional profile. The meridian plane of the cross section of each groove 5 is located tangentially to envelope surface 3, which is identical to the theoretical profile of the cross section of surface 3. The ratio of the height of grooves 5 to the diameter of the circumference of cavities 7 is in the range from 0.15 to 0.55. The ratio of the pitch of the grooves 5 to the height of the grooves 5 is in the range from 2.2 to 10.2.
