FIELD: instruments with multiple optical channels.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for obtaining multispectral images, which includes a multi-channel monolithic optical component that allows you to split the incident light beam into a plurality of output beams that deviate in different directions. The device contains a multi-channel monolithic optical component, which is formed by a section of transparent material between two opposite sides of the specified component. One of the two sides is formed by the first refractive surface, and the other side contains several second refractive surfaces located next to each other. Each optical channel of the component is formed by one of the second refractive surfaces in combination with a corresponding portion of the first refractive surface. Such a component is suitable to be part of a detection module within the instrument with a plurality of optical channels arranged in parallel and with a photodetector array that is common to the optical channels. Such a detection module can be small enough to fit into the cold shield of the cryostat to improve its cooling, and can be used in combination with an objective to form an instrument with multiple optical channels.
