FIELD: separation of hydrocarbons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for separating light hydrocarbons. The method includes the following steps: (1) compressing and cooling the hydrocarbon material containing C1-C4-hydrocarbons to be separated, obtaining a compressed and cooled hydrocarbon material, where the hydrocarbon material containing C1-C4-hydrocarbons includes olefin(s) selected (s) from among C2- or containing more C atoms olefins, and alkanes(s) selected from among C1-C4-alkanes; (2) contacting the compressed and cooled hydrocarbon material with an absorbent to absorb C2 or higher C hydrocarbons to form a solvent rich material; (3) distillation of the solvent-rich material to produce a gas phase material containing olefins and saturated alkanes and a solvent-depleted material; (4) distillation of the gas phase material containing olefins and saturated alkanes one or more times to produce one or more streams of liquid phase alkane rich material; (5) cracking one or more liquid-phase alkane-enriched material streams to produce a cracked gas; (6) circulating a cracked gas to stage (1); wherein step (4) comprises: feeding the gas phase material containing olefins and saturated alkanes into a second distillation column for distillation to produce a first stream containing ethane and ethylene leaving the top of the column and a second stream containing C3- or containing more C atoms, hydrocarbons emerging from the bottom of the column; loading the first stream into a third distillation column for rectification to produce an ethylene-containing product stream exiting the side of the column, a third ethylene-containing stream exiting the top of the column, and an ethane-enriched quadruple stream exiting the bottom of the column. The invention also relates to a system.
EFFECT: by using the separation method and system, the high quality of the product is ensured and the method is simple and makes full use of rich sources, thus increasing the value of the product.
