FIELD: rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of diagnosing railway infrastructure using automated means of assessing the state of technical facilities associated with ensuring the safety of train traffic. Multifunctional self-contained robotic system for diagnostics and control of track superstructure and elements of railway infrastructure includes stationary part consisting of base station and one or more evacuation stations, and mobile parts made in form of movable units, which are rail vehicles and providing monitoring of railway infrastructure. Stationary part is equipped with functional equipment, which provides independent operation of the complex, control of movable units and communication with a single intelligent system of control and automation of production processes on railway transport.
EFFECT: invention improves safety and efficiency of diagnosing railway infrastructure by creating sections of continuous monitoring.
