FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to friction materials intended for operation in friction units of machines and mechanisms in the presence of lubrication. The sintered friction material contains copper, tin, graphite, iron, aluminium nitride, tin bronze alloyed with nickel and/or iron and/or beryllium and/or silicon and/or aluminium, obtained from spherical powders with a size of 30-70 microns, microhardness 80-150 MPa, while the material contains components in the following ratio, wt.%: tin 4-7, graphite 9-12, iron 10-12, aluminium nitride 1-3, alloyed tin bronze 10-15, copper - rest.
EFFECT: increase in the coefficient of friction, increase in the stability of the moment of friction forces, increase in the coefficient of thermal conductivity of the friction material, increase in the resistance of the friction material to the formation of scuffing in the process of slipping.
