FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to copper-based friction materials intended for operation in friction units of machines and mechanisms in the presence of lubrication. Powder mixture for obtaining sintered friction material comprises powders of copper, tin, iron and anthracite powder with an average particle size of 100-150 mcm, in the following ratio, wt. %: tin powder 4-7, anthracite powder 9-12, iron powder 35-40, the rest is copper powder.
EFFECT: increased coefficient of friction, resistance to scuff formation in the process of slipping.
