FIELD: solid waste treatment technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for direct dehydration of inorganic sludge with hot slag by means of a drum-type process and a device for its implementation. The method includes mixing inorganic sediments with slag in a dewatering drum. The slag and sludge are transported to the drum by flow ratio conveying devices, where the slag and sludge are mixed, heat exchanged, dehydrated, cooled and broken down by the action of drum rotation and steel ball rolling, whereby the slag is cooled and the sludge is dried, followed by direct discharge. At the same time, inorganic sediments have an initial water content of 70-99%, and the water content after dehydration is 3-15%. The slag to sludge ratio is 1.5-3.0, and the sludge flow head is 10-80 t/h. The slag is then separated from the dehydrated sludge by separating them by a combination of screening and centrifugation methods. Next, tail gas treatment is carried out, in which the tail gas is cleaned from dust, sulphides and organic compounds formed during sludge dehydration by means of wet alkaline washing and adsorption with activated carbon, followed by gas removal as soon as the degree of its purification satisfies the emission standard. Residual sludge treatment is also carried out, in which the dust generated during tail gas purification is washed or sprayed with moisture, collected and transported by a conveyor device to a residual sludge mixing device, where the dust is mixed with primary inorganic sludge, mixed and then regularly fed into the drum using a mud pump for subsequent dehydration. In this case, the difference between the value of the water content in the residual sediments after mixing and mixing and the initial value of the water content in the sediments does not exceed ±5%.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows solving two problems in one stage: cooling and granulation of slag and dehydration of inorganic sludge, while efficiently using the high heat of slag, providing fast, stable and continuous direct dehydration of inorganic sludge and separation of slag from precipitates.
