FIELD: waste processing; metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to the processing of waste from the metallurgical industry, in particular, to the processing of oily scale, and can be used in those industries where, due to the technological features of production, it becomes necessary to remove hydrocarbon contamination from materials that can potentially be used as valuable raw materials in recycling production. The method for cleaning oily mill scale includes the following steps: a) pre-treatment of scale sludge diluted with water heated to 60°C; b) cavitation in the ejector mixer of 5-7% aqueous scale suspension obtained in step a); c) hydrodynamic separation of oil products from scale obtained in step b) by particle size and speed of their soaring in the liquid in stage I hydrodynamic washers; d) extracting the scale obtained in step c) with a neutral extractant; e) hydrodynamic separation of oil products from the scale obtained in step d) in a stage II hydrodynamic washer using ultrasound; f) separating the oil product from the slurry of scale obtained in step e), in which oil products are separated by settling on coalescing planes in a three-phase separator; g) mechanical separation in a magnetic separator and drying of the slurry of scale obtained in step f) in an inclined screw decanter. The method is carried out on a production line for cleaning oily scale of metallurgical industries, containing a series-connected hopper for pre-treatment of scale sludge, an ejector mixer for cavitation of a 5-7% aqueous suspension of scale obtained in step a), cylindrical-conical hydrodynamic washers of the first stage for hydrodynamic separation of oil products from scale, obtained in step b, an extractor for extracting scale using a neutral extractant, a II stage hydrodynamic washer with an ultrasonic processing unit for hydrodynamic separation of oil products from scale, a three-phase separator with coalescing planes for deposition of oil products on them; at least one decanter, a magnetic separator for the mechanical separation of the scale suspension, a decanter with an inclined auger for drying the scale suspension and containers for collecting the cleaned scale.

EFFECT: reduction of residual content of oil products to less than 1% in oily scale.
