FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to satellite observation systems. The integrated the Earth observation satellite system contains at least one constellation of the Earth satellites. The satellites are located on close orbital planes in medium-altitude elliptical orbits with the same values of the orbital period. The satellites have a command receiving radio link with antennas directed to the lower and upper hemispheres of the satellite and a high-speed transmitting radio link with an antenna directed to the lower hemisphere of the satellite. One perigee satellite is located in an orbit with a perigee argument that differs by 180° from the perigee argument of the apogee satellite. The satellites are unified according to the main systems and differ in focal lengths and the range of change in the focus of the unified optoelectronic system. The optoelectronic system of the perigee satellite is optimized for heights from perigee and above, and the optoelectronic system of the apogee satellite is optimized for heights from apogee and below.
EFFECT: decrease in the number of satellites for observation in a given latitude band, increase in the efficiency of using long-range observation satellites, ensuring prompt and long-term observation.
