FIELD: light-emitting devices.
SUBSTANCE: claimed light-emitting device comprises an LED capable of contacting a power source, a silicate-based fluorescent material capable of changing the wavelength of light and covering a portion of the LED surface. At the same time, a powder of an up-conversion fluorescent material with the following composition: Sr2Y(8-х-y)YbxErySi6O26 (x = 0.05-1.0, y = 0.01-0.20)is applied at the output opening of the laser LED at the rate of 5-10 mg/cm2 and isolated from the external environment with optically transparent adhesive tape.
EFFECT: simplification of the design, improvement in purity of red light and the possibility of a smooth shift of the maximum of the red radiation band without changing the composition of the fluorescent material.
