FIELD: measuring devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices for preventing overload on a measuring device, in particular on a pressure sensor. The device for protecting the measuring element from overpressure includes a housing with a cavity for installing the measuring element, a corrugated membrane mounted on the housing, the corrugations of which are made to coincide with coaxial corrugations made on the surface of the housing under the corrugated membrane. The cavity is isolated from the external environment by the second membrane, while the rigidity of the second membrane is higher than the rigidity of the corrugated membrane. In the body, under the central area of the corrugated membrane, a hole is made, which unites the gap between the corrugated membrane and the body with a cavity into a volume filled with liquid. A channel is made in the body, connecting said volume filled with liquid with the external environment, while a locking element is installed in the channel, which can be installed along the length of the channel in the process of adjusting the device.
EFFECT: increase of effectiveness of protection and simplicity of design.
