FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device for preventing overload on a differential pressure sensor. The device for protecting the differential pressure sensor from overpressure includes a body consisting of two parts, each of which includes a corrugated membrane installed on the body part, the corrugations of which are made to coincide with coaxial corrugations made on the surface of the body part under the corrugated membrane. A hole is made under the central region of the corrugated membrane, connecting the gap between the corrugated membrane and coaxial corrugations made on the surface of the housing part, with the first cavity, which is covered by a flat membrane, behind which the second cavity is made. In this case, rigidity of a flat membrane is higher than that of a corrugated membrane. In each part of the housing there is also a channel connected to the said opening and the external environment, while the channel is sealed from the external environment by a locking element configured to be installed along the length of the channel in the process of adjusting the device. In one part of the body, an additional cavity is made, in which the measuring element of the pressure sensor is installed, while this cavity above the measuring element is connected to the second cavity of this part of the body. The space under the measuring element of the pressure sensor is connected by a sealed tubular connection with the second cavity of the other part of the housing. The second cavity of each body part is connected by a sealed tubular connection with the first cavity of the other body part, and all cavities, channels and holes and tubular connections are filled with liquid.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of the protective device and a simplification of the design.
