FIELD: antenna technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna systems (arrays) with lens elements for correcting gain decay during scanning. The technical result is a decrease in the gain along the electric axis and an increase in the gain during scanning. The result is achieved by the fact that a hybrid lens antenna system with a mechanical drive with the ability to configure various options for the orientation and layout of a plurality of lenses that make up the antenna array, in order to control and improve the characteristics of the antenna in various scanning areas, is characterized by the addition of a secondary antenna array (skirt) at a large angle of inclination, tilting the primary antenna array, tilting individual lenses of the primary antenna array, or any combination of these methods.
EFFECT: decrease in the gain along the electric axis and an increase in the gain during scanning.
