FIELD: measurement devices.

SUBSTANCE: broadband monochromator includes a dispersing element, entrance and exit slits, a motorized slider with a base substrate, a system for tilting the base substrate relative to the incident radiation beam. The dispersing element is composite and represents a specularly reflecting surface and simple dispersing elements placed on one flat or curved base substrate, corresponding to the spectrum ranges from hard X-ray to terahertz, or combination thereof.

EFFECT: expanded range of radiation monochromatization and simplified adjustment during the experiment.
