FIELD: teaching aids in medicine.

SUBSTANCE: simulator for mastering the skill of suturing trocar wounds in laparoscopic surgery includes a sheet of transparent monolithic polymethyl methacrylate with suction cups, a holder for gadgets, and a material for mastering wound suturing in the form of a layer of foam rubber. A sheet of transparent monolithic polymethyl methacrylate has dimensions of 20*52 cm, is bent at 90 degrees dividing the simulator into a base and a front work surface, the base has the shape of a rectangle 18 cm long and 20 cm wide, and silicone suction cups located symmetrically at the corners at a distance of 2 cm from each edge. Materials imitating the structure of the skin, subcutaneous fat, muscular-aponeurotic layer and peritoneum are fixed on the front working surface using metal clips 3*2 cm, for installing a laparoport, suturing a trocar wound and applying a skin suture being layers of leatherette, foam rubber, polystyrene and spunbond, respectively. The holder for a gadget, which is a mobile phone or a tablet, is fixed to the base with a silicone suction cup with a diameter of 7 cm, has a hinge mechanism and an elastic rod 12 cm long and is rotatable through 360°, adjusting the angle of the gadget's screen and fixing it.

EFFECT: mastering of skills for suturing trocar punctures using simple means.
