FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to two embodiments of the method for producing an alkane compound represented by formula (1), where X1 and X2 are the same or different, and each represents a fluorine atom, and R1 and R2 are the same or different, and each represents an alkyl a group or a fluoroalkyl group. According to one of the embodiments, the method includes: (IIA) reaction, in the presence of a catalyst and a cycloalkane compound represented by formula (3), where R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9 and R10 are the same and each represents an atom fluorine or a fluoroalkyl group; an alkene compound represented by formula (2), where X1, X2, R1 and R2 are as defined above; and a halogen-containing gas for hydrogenating an alkene compound represented by formula (2).
EFFECT: obtaining the target compound in such a way that the (S), (R) isomer, (R), (R) isomer and (S),(S) isomer are jointly obtained.
