FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a one-step method of producing a fluoroalkine compound of formula R1C≡CR2 (1), where R1 and R2 are identical or different and each represents a fluorine atom or a fluoroalkyl group, wherein the method comprises exposing a fluoroalkane compound of formula R1CHX1CFX2R2 (2), where R1 and R2 are as defined above, X1 is a fluorine atom and X2 is a hydrogen atom or X1 is a hydrogen atom and X2 is a fluorine atom, dehydrofluorination reactions in the presence of a solvent containing an ether and a base containing an alkali metal and/or alkali-earth metal hydroxide and/or alkoxide. Method satisfies at least one requirement selected from a group consisting of the following: (I) fluoroalkyl group is a C1-C4 fluoroalkyl group and (II) ether is a chain ether. Invention also relates to a composition.
EFFECT: method enables to efficiently obtain the desired composition.
