FIELD: means for determining wind parameters.
SUBSTANCE: wind parameters detector contains a control and signal processing unit (1), three optoelectronic modules (2) directed to selected areas of the sky, and these directions are non-coplanar. Each optoelectronic module (2) includes three highly sensitive photodetectors (7) with blocks (10) of pre-amplification of the signal, an optical system (4) with a variable focal length and an aperture unit (6) that automatically regulates the received by the optoelectronic module (2) background radiation flux. In this case, each photodetector (7) in conjunction with the optical system (2) forms one of the three corner sectors (8) of the optoelectronic module (2) located next to each other, within which the photodetector (7) receives the background radiation flux with the intensity modulated by the inhomogeneities of the air masses moving and crossing the sector (13). From the output of each of the photodetectors (7), the variable component of the electrical signal is removed and amplified, corresponding to the variable component of the background radiation flux received by the photodetector (7), the frequency of which is proportional to the average velocity of the air mass. In this case, the phase delay between similar signals repeating at the outputs of photodetectors (7) determines the direction of displacement of the air mass as a whole between adjacent sectors (8) of the optoelectronic module (2), forming information about the average speed and direction of movement of the air mass relative to each from three non-coplanar directions (3). Based on the information received, the average direction and modulus of the wind speed vector are calculated in the region of space controlled by the determinant of wind parameters. In this case, the wind parameters at different distances from the object are determined by changing the size of the angular sectors of each optoelectronic module by changing the focal length of the optical system of the optoelectronic module.
EFFECT: increased amount of information about the wind state of the atmosphere.
