SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to detect vibrating objects against the background of the underlying earth's surface, their identification and be used in optical location systems, trajectory measurements, issuing target designation commands to weapon control systems. According to the method, a probing signal of the optical wavelength range is emitted, optical heterodyne reception of the reflected signal is carried out and an interference pattern is formed, the analysis of parameters of which allows the detection and identification of stationary vibrating targets against the background of the underlying earth's surface.
