FIELD: pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining amphiphilic high-polymer RNA from dry yeast is proposed, including the suspension of dry baker's yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae in a boiling aqueous 1.5% solution of oleic acid, titrated with 2.5 M NaOH to pH 7–8, the suspension is kept at 98–100°C for 40 min, the lysate cooled to 25–30°C is centrifuged in a low-speed centrifuge without cooling, NaCl is added to the supernatant drained through 3 layers of gauze to a concentration of 3 M, the suspension is kept for 1–2 days at 19–21°C, 40% of the supernatant is decanted, and the remaining 60% is centrifuged in a low-speed centrifuge without cooling; the resulting precipitation cake is subsequently washed with two parts of 3М NaCl solution and three parts of 95 ethanol by resuspending and low-speed centrifugation at a room temperature, dried in the air under sterile conditions to a minimum weight and no alcohol smell, then ground in a porcelain mortar to powder.
EFFECT: invention provides an extension of the arsenal of methods of obtaining amphiphilic high-polymer RNA for the preparation of antiviral medicinal products.
