FIELD: processing and concentration of minerals.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be used in the mining, construction and chemical industries. The complex method of dry concentration of sludge includes the stages at which the adhesive material is removed from the enriched fines, the material cleaned from adhesive contamination is dried, after which the material of the class minus 2 mm and plus 2 mm is separated on the classifier, whereas the material of the class minus 2 mm is transferred to magnetic separation, and the material of the class plus 2 mm is classified into classes and the material of each class obtained is transferred to its concentration unit, which is a tray comprising the accelerating and radial parts with sensors installed on them. At each concentration unit, the stages are carried out, at which particles of material are fed to the accelerating part of the tray, and the said particles are accelerated, information is obtained by means of sensors about the residual magnetization of the particle, about the spectrum of noise characteristics and the speed of the particles of the material, and the information received from the sensors is transmitted to the automated control system, which analyses the spectral-noise information received from the sensors, the analysis of residual magnetization, frictional properties, speed, and particles with the appropriate properties are separated into the appropriate cell using an actuator controlled by a microdrive.
EFFECT: increased the quality of the fines enrichment.
