SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and methods for drying coal used as fuel, raw materials for the metallurgical and chemical industries, as well as low-ash high-tech raw materials. The method includes the following steps: loading pre-enriched coal mass into a dehydrating sealed container, measuring and controlling the water level in the dehydrating sealed container and taking condensate water with a vacuum filter, measuring and controlling the temperature of the raw coal and the dynamics of water flow in the vacuum filter, transferring the said data to the automated control system, processing the said data and supplying steam to the dehydrating sealed container by means of nozzles from the steam condensate unit. The coal mass is mixed, the operating parameters of the steam condensate plant are monitored and the data is transmitted to the automated control system. Steam saturated with moisture is captured and fed into the steam condensate unit. Said captured steam is dehydrated and fed into the steam generator, while said steam is heated. Said steam is supplied through said nozzles to the dewatering tank for repeated dehydration cycle of said coal mass. Upon reaching the specified dehydration parameters, the dehydrated coal mass is completed and unloaded from the dehydrating sealed container.

EFFECT: improved quality of dehydration of pre-enriched raw materials and possibility of joint and separate dehydration of various classes of coals, including dispersed, ultrafine and extra pure.
