FIELD: nuclear industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a detector assembly for measuring the flow in the core of a nuclear reactor and a method for its formation. The assembly includes a number of self-contained detector devices, each of which is designed to measure the flow in one axial location in the core of a nuclear reactor, different for each device, as well as an assembly connector configured to connect to a power plant connector. The connector includes several outputs of the flow signals, each of which is connected to one of the energy-autonomous intrazone detector devices. At least one of the detector devices contains a set of at least two energy-autonomous intrazone detectors for measuring the flow at the same axial locations in the reactor core. Each of at least two said detectors includes a shell, a zone of detector material within the shell, an insulator between the shell and the detector material, and a flow signal output line. The output lines of the flow signal of at least two energy-autonomous intrazone detectors are connected to each other.
EFFECT: increase of the accuracy of measurements, as well as the possibility of simplifying the design of the connector.
