FIELD: diagnostic methods.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of diagnosing bearing assemblies of cardan joints in operation. Substance of the proposed method for diagnosing bearing assemblies of cardan hinges of transport and process machines consists in use of thermal indication labels for continuous monitoring of temperature conditions of bearing assemblies of cardan hinges. Thermal indication labels are to be installed not only on bottom of bearing assemblies of cardan joints, but also on assemblies interfaced with cardan hinges in kinematic chain of transmission of transport and technological machines in order to take into account the influence of extraneous temperature fields.
EFFECT: technical effect from application consists in improvement of accuracy and reduction of labor intensity of diagnostics of bearing assemblies of cardan hinges at maintenance that allows operative detection of cardan hinges requiring maintenance and repair actions.
